Here's a sneak peak at some of what you will learn in our exciting and challenging beginners level course:
1. Fundamental exercises - You will learn fundamental exercises specific to Tai Chi which help open, loosen and relax the body - Out of the hundreds of Qigong movements and energy exercises the instructors have learned over the years, these are a hand-picked selection which have proven to be the simplest, safest and most effective for students development.
2. Correct Body Alignments - You will begin the process of aligning the body and developing subtle internal body connections. Over time, this not only helps repair and heal joint, ligament and tendon problems but releases trapped and blocked energy throughout the body.
3. Energy flow and Breathing - You will begin to become aware of the energy running through the body, known in Chinese medicine as Qi (Chi) 氣. You will also learn simple and effective methods for refining (deepening and lengthening) your breath.
4. Natural Movements - By learning the Tai Chi form, you will start to develop a deep sense of how the body is organically designed to move. Once these movement habits become ingrained through practice you will develop strength, fluidity, endurance and body cohesion far beyond your current state.
